Mr. Raghavan joined CFG in 2012. His career has comprised of several senior consulting positions in the financial services industry spanning corporate finance, structured finance, private equity and portfolio management. Mr. Raghavan has extensive experience in pro-forma modeling, capital budgeting, revenue & expense forecasting, variance analysis, ROI analysis, cash-flow analysis and valuation. He has analyzed over $2 billion in diversified loan portfolios for banks, credit unions and private equity firms and has worked on deal analysis of an ZAR 800 million Asset Backed Security (ABS) for a South African leasing company. Previously, he was involved in providing buy-side advisory services to a private equity client bidding on a $1.3 billion distressed mortgage portfolio auctioned by the FDIC and U.S. Department of Treasury under its PPIP program. He also helped analyze a mezzanine debt tranche in a $2.5 billion deal for a Japanese Bank participating in a distressed mortgage transaction.
Mr. Raghavan has a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He has authored and conducted executive workshops for the Mortgage Bankers Association on topics such as Securitization, Credit Enhancement and Loss Mitigation Strategies. He was also invited to be a speaker at the National Mortgage Secondary Marketing Conference and Expo, in 2008 and 2009. He is an amateur sailor and rock climber. He lives with his wife in San Francisco, CA.
